The words normally used to describe someone aren’t anywhere close to describing Bill. Bill was our attorney that in 1999 stood tall & strong against a Houston hospital that was found COMPLETELY negligent which damaged my babygirl for life, with Cerebral Palsy, totally dependent on us for her EVER need.. Most traumatic thing in my life and Bill was the man that kindly & sincerely fought for our little girl to get her the money to have a chance in life. Bill was not like any other attorneys. Bill was a Christian man that had INTEGRITY like I have never seen.. I have kept up with Bill through the years. Bill truly cared about his clients. He became a very special person to my family. Our little girl, now 22, graduated High School in 2017 and Bill & his sweet wife came to her party and it was the greatest & proudest moment for us & Bill! He will be MISSED more than I could tell you! An exceptional man and example to us all for his greatness. Thank you Mr. Stradley for fighting for Mady!

Dear Emmalee and family, I so enjoyed our conversations regarding Bill's genealogy and will remember him fondly. So sweet and gentle, just like his cousin, my dear aunt-in-law, Wilma Dunn Jarrard. I feel very honored to have known Bill and know that he is at peace. My deepest condolences to you and yours.

Bill, I'm so sorry for your loss. A good father can pass on, but his thoughts, hopes, and dreams will live on through a good man, and a good son like you.
An old friend,

Dear Ms. Stradley & Family
I am truly saddened by your loss. We lost one of our wisest and most thoughtful attorneys and counselors when Bill passed last Thursday. I only had the opportunity to try a couple of cases with Bill and a couple as adversaries, but his intelligence and counsel helped shape my outlook and commitment to the practice of law thereafter.
Your loss has created a void in our profession which will never be filled
My deepest condolences,
Karl C. Hoppess.

BILL WAS A FRIEND IN LAW SCHOOL AND WHILE WE TOOK DIFFERENT PATHS AFTER GRADUATING, WHENEVER WE MET AGAIN IT WAS AS THOUGH WE HAD NEVER PARTED. BILL PERSONKFIED WHAT AN ATTORNEY SHOULD REPRESENT: A SERVANT OF HIS CLIENTS AND PROFESSION.CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY. GODSPEED BILL

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I was a advocacy student of his in 1981. To say he was excellent and I learned at lot from him is an understatement.

II've known Bill both professsionally and as a friend since the '70's. HIs death is a very sad day to both his family and friends but to the legal profession. Bill was a true gentleman and an all-around great guy, but also a fine, scholarly lawyer who was known throughout the trial lawyers' world as advocating for his clients not only with great skill and passion, but also with the highest integrity. My sympathies to Emmalee and his family. Bill was a rare treasure who will be missed not only by his family, but by many others whose life he touched along the way.
