Paul was also an RPCA member for many years. When my husband and I started to do Umler (railcar registration), he was a great help - sharing the knowledge that he had of the system.
We didn't talk often, usually meeting at conferences, but he was always interested in what was happening in our world.
He will be missed.

I worked with Paul several years as a fellow officer of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners. He essentially used his expertise to enable survival of our ability to operate from the early days with effective and intelligent use of his legal skills, not to mention his endearing personality. Paul was a passionate realist whose value to my work and to that of all car operating rail enthusiasts is beyond measure. Rest in peace, Paul. It was great knowing you. May God bless you and bring consolation to your loved ones. Fr. Doug Ebert

Betty and family, we are so sorry to hear about Paul's death. I enjoyed working with Paul. He mentored me and taught me many things about Intellectual property. I also had the pleasure of sharing many lunch times with Paul at a variety of locations, many of which I didn't know existed until Paul took me there. Tom & Carolyn Paul
