Mr. Evans was a mentor to me and my principal in my first year of teaching in Galveston, TX. He encouraged innovation, creativity and hard work. He inspired me to be the best teacher I could be, and I am forever grateful for his support.

Prayers to your family. Jerry was my cousin and remember fun times when we were much younger such as the time he showed up for Thanksgiving dinner with a big red circle on his forehead. A stunt where he had gotten a toilet plunger caught on his forehead. Can't remember the whole story now.
