She is preceded in death by her mother. Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Thomas "Tom" Hix; daughter, Jessica Hix and partner Cade Conlon; father, Buck Hanson and wife Ruth; brother, Edward Wayne Hanson; sisters, Debra Guidry and Melissa Craft; brothers-in-law, Frank Esthay and wife Cindy and Gene Hix; nieces and nephews, Keith Thomas Esthay, Nicci and Sergio Aguilar and sons, and Michael and Alik Hix and sons and many other loving family members. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, San Antonio, TX Office, 8610 N. New Braunfels, Suite 400, San Antonio, Texas, 78217.
