Stuart was one of the most opinionated members -- but one of my stronger supporters -- at the Houston Venture Capital Association. He also helped a friend of mine codify her second-business plan, so she could bring her program to market. One can't help but miss a man who helped others excel.

Dear Prissy, Bill told me on Monday about Stu's death. So sorry for your loss. I moved to Florida a year ago and am still unpacking. Bill lives in Longwood about 2 hours south of my retirement community, and Greg lives in San Francisco.
I have such fond memories of our friendship and the fun travels we had together. You are lucky to have your sons nearby -- and grandchildren, no less (I have none).
Although we have not been in contact for years, I still think of the two of you.
Best wishes to you and have a wonderful life.

Stuart was a true jewel. The last time I spoke to him was 4-6 weeks ago. I asked him if he wanted to go to religious services (a baseball game ) he said he couldn't walk very well but would enjoy having lunch with me. I told him I would come by and pick him up in a few weeks. I wish I would have. Clayton Norris, CFP

Dearest schube family, I amso saddened by your loss of Stu. He was always so wonderful to me and my family and I will forever be indebted to him for his advice and direction in my career. His words helped me to become the employee I always wanted to be and his love for Priscilla and his children and grand children set a great example for me to practice those valuesin my own home. Thank you for sharing him with me. My condolonces, Mali Morgan

Dear Mrs. Schube and Family,
I was heartbroken when I heard of the passing of Mr. Schube. He will be so truly missed by so many. I loved receiving his phone calls, his humor, his knowledge. It seemed like everytime I spoke to him, I learned something new. Very few people can say that they can do that. I am so happy that he came into our family's life. He would never forget to ask how each person was doing. Both of you introduced me to your wonderful family. He was a friend and a teacher. I will so miss his phone calls and his parting words "Charge On". Wish we could do something to ease your sorrow. May all the wonderful memories heal your hearts.
With love and friendship,
Debbie, Brian, Alex and Phillip King

Priscilla-I was so shocked and saddened to read of Stuart's passing. Of all the people I worked with while at AMICA, you and Stuart were always among my favorites. The world will be less bright without him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Words cannot describe my heart felt sorrow upon learning of my dear friend Stuart Schube's passing.
Stuart and I grew up together on the same floor at 672 Empire Blvd, a few blocks from our beloved Brooklyn Dodgers and Ebberts Field.
Stuart had great passions for his family, friends, Repbublicans, The Presidents Bush and the Brooklyn Dodgers.
Stuart had a great respect for my parents and always treated them with honor and compassion.
My condolences to Priscilla and the boys. May Stuart's memory be for a blessing.
Harold Schiffer and the entire Schiffer family.

Pamela and I were simply shocked when we saw the newspaper this morning!! We have nothing but the deepest respect and appreciation of and for Stewart and the wonderful life he has lived. We are personal recipients of some of his greatest talents...and now grieve at the loss. But we most particularly grieve with Priscilla who must now go forward without the strength and support of Stewart. We will pray daily for the whole family both now and in the future.
Unfortunately we found the obituary too late this morning to attend the funeral. We now live in Montgomery TX so there was no way to mobilize and cover the distance in the time we had left after reading the paper. Know however that we wanted to be there and have been there is spirit....

Dear Priscilla: Lela and I were so saddened to learn of Stuart's death, and regret that we did so only this morning, not in time to attend the service today. Stuart was a good man and a good friend and we had a lot of fun together over the past 25 years. All the best to you, Jonathan, and Scott.
