Eva Grimes Obituary
began her eternal life with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2012.
Eva lived a beautiful life in Houston, Texas attending Brock Elementary School and was a Mighty Eagle of Booker T. Washington High School. She earned a Bachelors' degree from Texas Southern University and completed advanced studies at Prairie View A & M University. She married her college sweetheart, the late James C. Grimes, Jr. She leaves to cherish such beautiful and wonderful memories, a mother, Iva Adams, one brother, Willie L. Adams, Jr. (Gloria), two sons, Kennard Adams (Stein) and Marcus Grimes (Shelia) and one daughter Charlotte Grimes, two grandsons in Houston, Namon Scott and Marcus Jamail Grimes and seven additional grandchildren in California as well as great grandchildren and a host of family and friends as well as her extended family, New Hope Baptist Church.
The family will receive family and friends Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at the O. W. Wiley Mortuary. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 12:00p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 5026 Langley Road Houston, Texas Rev. Tracey S. Phillips officiating. Interment at Paradise North Cemetery.
