Just now learning of this sad news. Bob Casey was a super intelligent, very interesting, and extremely hard working man. I know because he was my boss for about 70-75 hours per week, on average, and he was almost always there when I arrived and there when I left, even decades after becoming a partner in his firm. With fond memories from his former amanuensis.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Bob's book readings and museum visits that I got to enjoy with Kathryn. He was a great role model for me!

My heartfelt condolences to this amazing branch of our family. My childhood memories (a while back, smile) are very fond. Tim was the last I saw. My life is in Utah. My thanks to Bob and Pauleen Maybee who try to keep me in the loop as well as Bandi Osenbaugh Hoffner. I was visiting Houston just 2 weeks ago and told them how sad I was to loose contact with the Casey clan. If any have interest in a few old photos, stories and family objects, Ethel,Ivah, Catherine. Just contact me through Bob and Pauleen. Sending love, always.

Bob,
You are one of the strongest individuals I have ever met. You managed this vicious disease head on. I will miss you and your strength gives me courage every day.

What an exceptional and thoughtful man! I had the distinct and rewarding pleasure of working for Bob at Bracewell on the corporate side of his practice in the late eighties, early nineties. And I had the even greater pleasure of dinner guest at his home while helping on Westlake projects, which were especially time consuming. As I recall, after being reinvigorated by Mary Kay's examinatuin before and at dinner, I returned to work...as it proved, a necessary good move. Bob and Mary Kay were so engaging that.i remember that dinner today as if it were yesterday. I also recall fondly debates with Bob and Hal Demoss on real property issues in legal opinions...one can never forget debating with giants whether real property vs solely contractual interests were created by certain instruments...in Saturday mornings...I learned so much from Bob, particularly including explaining the concept of negligence to Japanese clients. Bob was a truly great man. With all comfort possible to the family, Cabell
