Dear Great Aunt Gert and, Family of cousin Bev, I had written some thoughts on the eve of 30 June 2016. And, today, Saturday 2 July 2016, I went on line to view Bev's Guest Book and, my note was not listed. So, I will try again. As you know, I am currently working in Oregon and, I am sorry that I could not attend Bev's Celebration of Life. I had honestly looked into flights to come home. But, we are short handed at work and, I could just not see how to schedule the time away. Please, forgive me. Of course, Mom (Ginny) was present and, filled me in on the event this morning. Great Aunt Gert you are an inspiration for your strength! Interestingly, the first requisition I picked up at work on Friday 1 July 2016, the patients name was Bev! And, at the end of the day, to my amazement the last form I touched was for this patient named Bev! So, I was being reminded of cousin Bev and, my heart was with you all! I am so very glad that I was able to visit with Bev at Great Aunt Claire's 90th Birthday gathering hosted by Aunt Nath! I was so happy to see the picture of Bev and a few of us cousins that Aunt Nath submitted with her wonderful thoughts for the guest book. Today, I found myself going through my photo's of Great Aunt Claire's 90th and, had taken quite a few of Bev, Great Aunt Gert, Claire, Arlene, Aunt Nath my Mom, cousins, guests and, just everyone. I will share these when I get back to Manty in mid September. I have memories of Bev baby sitting for Julie and I when were small. And, in turn I baby sat a bit for Nathan when he was a toddler...I don't know if he would remember as he was quite small. And, I have missed many family events coming and, going WI for employment over the years. I have quite a few Bev memories tucked inside. Lastly, I appreciated Bev's support during the passing of my Dad, Richard. I am sending lots of love and sympathy to you all, Great niece/cousin Barb

It is with great sadness that i write my condolences to my Aunt Gertie, Bev's mother, and to Donnie and Cheri, Bev's siblings on the passing of their daughter/sister...and my first cousin. I am that much older that I, on occasion, babysat Bev. She was the cutest little girl and so full of life. I have lived away from Manitowoc pretty much all of my adult life. But, when I did return for a visit and saw Bev, she greeted me as if no time had passed...she was always warm and friendly. She had a gift of laughter that was contagious. I am so happy that she stopped by to see me/us when we were celebrating Aunt Clair's 90th birthday just last June. (See photo taken then.) We had a nice visit. I extend my condolences also to Greg, Bev's significant other, to her children, and to all her grandchildren. I know all will miss her smile and laughter.

My condolences to the family. These are very stressful times. But know this, when we have anxieties that overwhelm us we should remember that God comforts and sooth us . Ps. 94:19.

May the God of all comfort be with the family in this difficult time.

Dear Gertrude, Cheri and the entire family of Bev. I was so saddened to hear that Bev had passed I was not aware that she had been sick. She was a fun filled gal . I had not seen her very much over the years but when I did get that chance we yucked it up and laughed over the old Lilac Bush Gang stories. Those were good times with lots of fond memories and a wonderful group of people. May God bless you all. Colleen M. Petska
