Carol Reichard Obituary
Carol (Wilke) Reichard passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at St. Mary's at Felician Village, Manitowoc.
Carol was born on December 30, 1924, daughter of the late Arthur and Rose Wilke. She married Norman H Reichard on November 18, 1950 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. They later became members of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Carol was a devoted wife, a loving mother and was strong in her faith. She enjoyed travel, golf, bridge, entertaining and especially time with her family, whom she spoiled with her many cakes, tortes and cookies.
She is survived by her children: Sue and John Rohrer, Jim and Fran Reichard, Jeff Reichard and special friend Teri Sturm; grandchildren: Rose Rohrer and Justin Bendell, Emily Rohrer and Ryan Montgomery, Joshua Reichard, Charles Reichard, Gabriel Reichard; and a brother-in-law: Gerald Hansen; as well as many well beloved nieces, nephews and of course her wonderful bridge buddies.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Norm; one sister: Delores Hansen; one brother: Richard Wilke; one sister-in-law: Mary Jane Wilke; one daughter-in-law: Anne (Kornely) Reichard; and a nephew: Robert Wilke.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:30 AM in the Blessed Angela Chapel at the Felician Village, Manitowoc. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until 11:15 AM in the chapel. A dinner will follow at the Wisconsin Room in the Gardens at Felician Village. Burial will take place privately at a later date.
Carol's family would like to thank everyone at Felician Village for their care and kindness. We would especially like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Nursing Home and the staff at Home Health Care Services and Hospice.
Memorials may be made to Roncalli High School.
