Ronald Sanders Obituary

Ronald Jon Sanders
March 26, 1943- January 26, 2018
Ronald Jon Sanders passed away at home in Boise, Idaho, acceding to a 12 year battle with cancer.
Ron was born in Oakland, California, and raised in the nearby town of Moraga. He was a graduate of Miramonte High School and Fresno State College. Throughout his life, Ron pursued many business endeavors. In addition to helping on the family ranch, Ron's early career began with Washington National Insurance. He moved his family to Boise, Idaho, in 1985 when he became an independent business owner. He spent the latter part of his career returning to the insurance business, helping many individuals with long term estate and financial planning.
Ron was the oldest of five siblings born to the late John and Helen Sanders (Bletcher). He is survived by his sisters, Sharla Haughey of Martinez, CA, and Sheree Reilly of Trukee, CA, and his brothers Todd Sanders of Chico, CA, and John Sanders of Martinez, CA.
One of Ron's greatest passions was his Christian faith. He was an active member of Eagle Nazarene Church in Eagle, Idaho. He spent countless hours serving others through his dedication and passion to the church's community garden. He also enjoyed greeting parishioners each Sunday morning as they came through the doors. It is through the church that Ron found unconditional love and friendship. He continually spoke to what a blessed man he was because of the special people that God put in his life.
Friends and family are being asked to join in a celebration of Ron's life on Saturday, February 3rd, at 11am at Eagle Nazarene Church, 1001 W. State St, Eagle, ID 83616.
Ron's three daughters are requesting that memorial donations may be made to:

I just learned of Ron's death. I went to high school (Miramonte) with Ron in Orinda, Ca. I always thought he was one of the nicest boys that I knew. May you rest in peace, Ron.

I knew Ron or Ronnie as he was called then..when I was young.
We used to ride the ranch in moraga together, he was a wonderful person ..kind, fun and a hard worker.
We used to sort pears in the moraga orchards to earn extra money.
I'm so sorry to learn of his passing..condolances to the family❤

We are surprised and deeply saddened by Ron's passing. He was a tremendous help with our financial planning the past 20 years. We have personally never met in person but shared a great friendship as well as professional trust and understanding.
Many hours on the phone felt like we were just hanging out.
Our condolences to his family and hope you find comfort knowing he has touched and changed our lives, and we are confident many others too.
