1937 - 2019
Gloria Brown passed away, peacefully on Sunday, January 20th. She was a caring and wonderful individual, talented artist and owner of Brown's Gallery for more than 35 years. She was married to her husband, George for more than 60 years and was a fantastic mother to her 3 children, Randall, Sharene and Phil, her grandkids and extended family. She will be greatly missed. A service for Gloria is scheduled for February 24th at 3PM at the "Center at The Park" (1920 N Records Ave, Meridian, ID 83642).

Gloria was so inspiring to be a major influence for many artists through the years. I am so thankful to know her all these years she was a dynamo, always having the most fabulous art opening. She would pull it together, clap her hands, and say let's go!!

Gloria Brown was a lovely woman, and an even lovelier human being. I so enjoyed visiting with her and Randall at Brown's Gallery, which I first visited when it was in a big colonial home on Boise Avenue. Through the years, oil paintings, ceramic art, glass art, and button bracelets from Brown's Gallery on Main Street graced my home and made relatives happy at Christmas... Gloria was warm, friendly, welcoming and gracious. I remember being broken-hearted when she was diagnosed with Parkinson's, and again sometime later, when the gallery closed. Gloria and Randall and Brown's Gallery were a bright spot in my life for many years and I am so grateful for the memories...
My deepest sympathy to the family and friends who must continue on without her guiding light. Gloria was the best.
