Angela Conley Obituary
Vitale Conley
36, of Canton, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at home, surrounded by her family following her courageous battle with breast cancer. Angie was born in Canton, Ohio, on March 18, 1978, a daughter of Leon 'Lee' and Melissa 'Missey' Bellinski Vitale. She was a 1996 graduate of Central Catholic High School. In 2002, Angie graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Education. She was employed through the Stark County Educational Service Center at Minerva Middle School teaching those with special needs. Her passion and commitment to breast cancer awareness led her to become a committee member for the Relay for Life as well as being honored as the recipient of the 2006 BMW Komen Ultimate Drive Honor, and the 2013 Honorary Speaker for the Jackson Relay for Life.
Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eugene and Donna Bellinski and Jim and Cleo Vitale. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Conley, whom she married Aug. 9, 2008 in Fredericktown, Ohio; two daughters, Sofie and Hannah; Sisters, Katie (Andy) Lloyd of Virginia Beach, Va., and Julie Vitale of Canton, Ohio; three nieces, Katie Sweeney, Layla Lloyd, and Farrah Lloyd.
Friends will be received on Monday from 5-8 p.m. in St. Michael Catholic Church in Canton where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 22 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Donald E. King and Fr. Robert W. Kaylor as concelebrant. The funeral procession will form at the church. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Massillon, Ohio. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Angela Vitale Conley Family Benefit Fund or the Little Pink Ribbon Girl Fund at any Stark County Key Bank location.
