I too am here because of 'What's My Line?'. The young and exuberant Mr. Buck made such an impression on the show's emcee and panel, not to mention the studio audience and myself, that it seemed certain that if he survived Korea, he would have an exemplary life. That certainly seems to be the case. My warm regards to the family and to a life well-lived.

I'm hoping I'm not in any way out of line posting as I didn't really know James Buck but just wanted to share my memory of remembering this man from a pretty young age as a contestant on What's My Line so I looked up the episode on YouTube and I believe he appeared on March 29, 1953....I'm 48 but am definitely a fan of the early episodes which featured Dorothy Kilgallen.
