71, was born on September 26, 1942 to Dr. Pearlie Arthur and Esther Negley Schwartz, and passed away on November 16, 2013. She was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School and Indiana University, where she earned her CPA.
Her fondest memories were of growing up on the family farm, learning to drive on a tractor, and taking care of her many dogs and her horse, Rex. Mary Ann also enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, spending countless hours in her greenhouse, and Sunday football. Go Vikings!
Mary Ann loved having her family around her most of all. She is survived by three sons, Rod (Cindy), Mike (Cindy) and Dan Sheeks. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Danny, Samantha, Natalie, Audrey, Emily and Abigail Sheeks. One brother, Glen (Pat) Schwartz.
There will be no services. In lieu of flowers please consider giving to the Humane Society of your choice, or Prevail. Many thanks to the wonderful people at St. Vincent's Hospice, and especially to her favorite nurse, Maxine.
