Sandra L. Brooking
58, of Indianapolis, took Jesus' hand at home on Sunday, September 14, 2014. She was born February 7, 1956 in Indianapolis to Wayne and Geraldine Polak who have preceded her in death. She was a Customer Service Representative at Erie Insurance. She enjoyed life as she helped others through volunteering with her E. 91st Street Christian Church family and Relay For Life. She enjoyed gardening, being part of a supper club for the last 14 years, playing softball, going on cruises and cooking. She was also involved with Ovar-coming Together. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Dean Brooking; her son, Joshua (Tina) Moline; step-sons, Michael Brooking and Mark Brooking; brother, Greg (AJ) Polak; sister, Kimberly (Dan) Spiker; and was a grandma, great grandma, aunt and great aunt. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at Noon on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at E. 91st Street Christian Church, 6049 E. 91st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250. A time of sharing will be held after the service at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. I met "Sandy B" several years ago at my very first WWCO campout. Absolutely loved her and her bubbly, cheerful personality! We will definitely miss her! My thoughts and prayers go out to the family on your loss of such an amazing woman.
