I was forever blessed by Yung Chen at a young age of 11. He came to preach and share his testimony at our church in Washington Indiana and I prayed to receive Christ. I still can see and hear him singing How Great Thou Art. Looking forward to our reunion one day.

Your Dad came to our Church in Washington In.years ago. He stayed with our family and preached, sang, shared his testimony for a weekend revival. It was during that time I accepted Christ and forever grateful to Yung Chen and the God he loved and served. I was blessed to meet with him several other times and he was so encouraging to me and our family. Praying for all of you as you celebrate his life and joyful reunion with the Lord.

Paul, Grace, Peter and families, Your father (and mother) were so inspirational to me and my husband when he pastored at Mitchell Street UM church in Kendallville, IN. I was in a quartet named in honor of him, The Yung Inspirations. He was such a sweet Christian man and had such a wonderful testimony. I know he will be missed by many, but I also have a warm feeling that he will again see my husband as he passed away 2 1/2 years ago. It will be a sweet meeting of many for him at the heavenly gates. I know you realize he was loved by countless numbers of people and will be missed greatly. God bless you all.

Met him at the airport where I once worked. He was known as "Chaplin Chen" by many of us. I always enjoyed talking to him and his testemony on how he came to know Jesus. Always teared up when he talked about his wife. You knew he loved her. I know he is safe in Jesus' arms, and look forward to see him again someday.

Grace and Chen family,
You have my deepest sympathy on the death of your great and godly,Papa Chen. I sure wish I had had the opportunity to have met him. Grace, I have been inspired and impacted by the stories you have told me about him. Your Papa's love and care for others and how he persevered through the most difficult situations. Your love, care, sacrifice and support especially through these last years must have brought him much comfort. May God and your warm memories of your precious Papa Chen bring comfort to you and your family.
Love and blessings,
Gay
