Martha Chew Obituary
Indianapolis - Martha Louise Chew, 97, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 9, 2017. She was born on May 26, 1920 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Charles E. Steinhauer and Goldie E. (Donley) Smith.
She was a member of the Greenwood Moose Lodge.
Survivors include her son, Glenn R. "Dick" (Diana) Chew; grandchildren, Mark Kelly, Karen (Joe) Lockwood, Jessica Steinhauer, Jennifer Chew, Jamie Chew, and Jessica Chew; along with several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Charles H. Steinhauer and John Kelly; four sisters; and 1 brother.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 South State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road. A Graveside Service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery immediately following the Visitation at 1:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
