Our family lived 2 doors down from Bill's parents on Second Avenue in Sioux Falls. As a little girl, I say at their kitchen nook table munching cookies as I chatted with Bill's mom, Anna. Bill's parents were so proud of their son and spoke so lovingly of them. I was friends with Leslie Wooley who would come up from Wichita to visit once or twice a year. There was so much love in the Grigsby family, and it was fun to listen to the tales.
May Perpetual Light shine upon Bill, and may his memory be a blessing.

Dr. Grigsby was more than my teacher and mentor. He was my friend. He helped usher me through both academic and personal difficulties. He was a rigorous, but kind, gentleman. I miss him and will never forget him.
