DR. MURRAY GOLDBERG, February 1, 2008. Beloved husband of Beverly (nee Solomon. Devoted father of Dr. Eric (Nathalia) Goldberg, Dr. Barry (Kimberly) Goldberg and Adam F. (Sarah Hennelly) Goldberg. Dear Brother of Harvey L. Goldberg. Loving grandfather of Julia, Kevin, Nicholas, and Ellie. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services Sunday 12 Noon precisely at GOLDSTEINS ROSENBERGS RAPHAEL-SACKS, 6410 N. Broad Street. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at his late residence through Tuesday evening. Contributions in his memory may be made to American Melanoma Foundation 12395 El Camino Real - Suite 117, San Diego, CA 92130

I pledge charity in his behalf and pray that his soul be kept among the immortal souls of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Leah, and all the righteous men and women in paradise.

Our God and God of our fathers, may the memories of those whom we lovingly recall as we say Yizkor this day influence our lives for good and direct our thoughts away from the vain and fleeting toward that which is eternal.
Teach us to emulate the virtues of our dear ones so that we too may be inspired to devote ourselves to the Torah, to Israel and to Thee, the source of all our aspirations.
Thus shall the historic chain of Judaism remain unbroken, our departed mothers and fathers and all our loved ones be united with us.

I apologize for possibly dredging up sad memories but after watching your show on your family's life, it is hard not to feel a little closeness to you all. I know its a little weird.. Murray seemed like a good and proud dad. I love The Goldbergs. I grew up in the 80s, and can relate to all of the episodes. Eric and Barry, sounds like you live by the example of your father in your career. Adam, your dad would be smiling about all you have achieved, and you keep many memories of Murray alive. Beverly, you shared many good years, and I hope the memories have brought you some measure of peace throughout the years. Cheers to a gentleman who truly lived.

I don't know how I stumbled upon this but we love the show and and we're so sad to hear that Murray has passed away. Our whole family love watching The Goldbergs, from 3 years old to 41 and we adore all of the characters equally. The Goldberg family are a huge inspiration, with Murray at the helm. Rip.

Adam's portrayal of Murray is a great tribute to his memory. I love watching the show based on the Goldberg family. I feel lucky that Adam chose to share his memoirs with the world. I don't know all that was true on the show. What was real or wasn't but I was very sad to hear you passed. I think you were a great father with a huge heart and undying dedication to you family. I wish you could see the success your son has had with the show. I just wanted to say that this show has brought me joy in dark days. At times of anger, depression, or just for fun I love this show. There is really nothing like it out there. Good clean family fun with the simplicity of the 80s but it takes a great person to put all of it together. I'm just thankful to the whole Goldberg family and thank you for your son and never giving up on him. He has made my life much easier and I hope he shares more. Love your family and RIP you will be missed and are.

Quiero que sepais que no solo habeis llegado al corazón de los estadounidenses, sino al corazón de personas de todo el mundo. Seguimos la serie y nos reimos mucho desde aquí, Cádiz, Spain. Nos encanta sentirnos identificados con vosotros, nuestra infancia fue muy parecida a la vuestra y muy divertida. Los 80's es la mejor época del mundo. Mi hermano y yo nos preguntabamos el por qué el verdadero Murray no salía nunca hablando en la serie y nos sentimos realmente tristes al averiguar que Murray falleció. Lo siento muchisimo, ha dejado una familia y un legado fantastico. Mis felicitaciones por el show.
