PIERS WEDGWOOD Obituary
PIERS ANTHONY, 4th Lord Wedgwood of Barlaston England, age 59, on January 29, 2014 of Chestnut Hill and London. Survived by his wife, Lady Mary Regina Wedgwood (nee Quinn), his daughter The Hon. Alexandra Mary Kavanaugh Wedgwood; two sisters, The Hon. Susan Wedgwood DeSantana and The Hon. Sarah Wedgwood Bitove. Funeral Liturgy Saturday, March 1st, 2:00 P.M. at Our Mother of Consolation Church, 9 E. Chestnut Hill Ave., Phila., PA 19118. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Lord Wedgwood Charity http://www.lwcharity.com a non-profit he founded following a heart attack in 2001 with the goal of placing automatic external defibril-lators (AEDs) into high schools and communities.

I was fortunate enough to meet Piers when he visited Austin Texas at Joskes Department Stores. He was kind to everyone and extremely knowledgeable of the China and all the Wedgewood products. I was the Store Manager and we established a good relationship. I’m sorry I did not know he had passed. My prayers to all his family. Joan Blakey

Our sincere condolences from friends of Piers’ Aunt Alice (Telfer) in Glasgow. Alice was one of Edith’s sisters. My Mother always spoke of the Wedgwood Glasgow connections and met Piers when he visited Glasgow and filled him in about his Scottish family. Fond memories.
Memories of the moments of a very nice person-2000,2008,2010,2011,2012-we will meet again.
