Paul was my best friend. He was nice, kind and had a big heart. I knew him for over 30 years and during that time, no matter where I was in the world he would call or meet me. I will miss him so much.

I cannot count how many times Paul helped me out with questions, stress, and just comforting me. I loved him. He is a huge loss for those of us who knew him, and for this company.

RIP My friend!!! You will be missed.

When the news came of my friend and co workers passing my heart ached for the community of peers that would be feeling the sorrow from hearing this news as well. Pauls impact and devotion to his work with USAirways union carved out place in the hearts of literally everyone that EVER met him. Im blessed to have been met by his one of a kind smile as I hopped on the employee bus in November. Hi ELLEN, as he carved out a spot for me next to him. We chatted about his schedule and how he wanted to pick up more trips instead of union hours. Im sitting here Really thinking about it. And I dont think I know of anyone who has helped as many people as Paul. Paul had zero biases, no preferences or discrimination concerning who he gave to. All Paul DID is give. Paul had a great sense of humor too. Sometimes you had to wait and extra second or really listen to his one liners, that hed throw in. In sort of an after the fact kind of way. I loved his smart remarks. Paul had a brilliant mind. He had to have been on a genius level IQ. Paul should still be here. We need his help and guidance. My name is Ellen Forse and Ive known Paul for over 20 years. I wanted to go to his retirement party. I wanted to hear how he was enjoying his much deserved glory years. I want his family to know how much Paul meant to me, to all of us. Im sorry for your loss. Very sorry.

Paul was not just a friend, but a mentor. Someone I could easily talk to and get meaningful advice. His dedication to his job and his willingness to help anyone in need will sorely be missed here at American Airlines.

Paul was a dear friend. One of the most dedicated people I have ever met. He was a realist but never willing to give up. I was blessed to call him friend and colleague.

I was so lucky to see Paul on my last commuting flight in March. Got a hug and a sweet conversation , as usual. What a gift. Paul was a fighter for our cause and never stopped caring. What a terrible loss.
