Today would have been Mom's 80th birthday. Though on earth we're still coping with the grief of our loss, I know she's celebrating in heaven with the angels. Loving and missing our "Sweetie Pie" tremendously.

The first time I met Elizabeth she was so graceful and treated me like a son, instead of a son-n-law. Through the years that followed she always checked in on us and prayed fervently for the family. She adored her grandkids and always spoke words of encouragement to them. I will miss mom for her warm smile and the love she had for us. There will always be a very special place in my heart for this beautiful, Godly lady that I love and miss tremendously. Sleep on my Sweetie Pie. We will meet again.

God's Love is a light that shines upon us all. Momma Taylor was someone who submerged herself in God's Light and possessed His Light within. She loved her church, she loved her church family and loved her Pastor and First Lady and we loved her too.
Momma Taylor, we'll miss you dearly and to you we say, You have fought the good fight, you have run the race, you have kept the faith, and you now have your crown of righteousness. So this is not goodbye, this is until we meet again, sleep on until we see you again!
Love You,
Your Pastor & First Lady,
Pastor Jerome & La Tonya Grice, Sr.

Elizabeth, I am thankful for your life and legacy. The seed that you planted in your daughter has grown and touch so many of us. I am fortunate to have Cheryl as a supervisor with compassion and professionalism and praying that God continues to bless and strengthen your family.

In loving memory of Sweetie Pie,
I love you so much and miss you dearly. She gave me my name and gave me everything a granddaughter could ask for. I will miss our weekly phone calls and long conversations that provided peace and prayer. Growing up and staying at your house for days at a time. I remember you would cook breakfast , lunch and dinner all at the same time before you would go to work. Spending hours playing your piano and helping you plant the grape vine in your backyard . Easter Church Sunday’s , Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays looking forward to seeing you and eating all of the food that you would effortlessly prepare . These are some of the sweet memories that I hold dear to my heart . She was the matriarch to our family and I know she is still watching over and protecting us. I love you and miss you.

Elizabeth, I did not personally know you, however, your sweet daughter Cheryl, was my manager for a short while. I know there will be a big hole left in Cheryl's family, and with God's grace and healing hands it will be filled. You rest for now, and we will ALL see you once again.

Mom's favorite song was "When you hear of my homegoing, don't worry about me."
I am so heavy hearted; I truly miss you, Mom. Yet I know, without a doubt, that you've gone on to heaven, a home not made by human hands.
Love you forever,
Your "little Soldier"

We love you so much sweetie pie. Thank you for you unconditional love and your everlasting support in everything that I did. Thank you for the strong and amazing prayers, because of you I always knew that I was in great hands in God’s care and that there was always someone out there praying for my well-being. Thank you for always calling to check up on me and the family and making us smile every time. Thank you for always taking care of me and giving plates filled with food and to go plates filled with more food and fruit from the backyard. Thank you for being the most amazing grandmother anyone could ask for. I love you and miss you more than anything sweetie pie. This is not a goodbye but a see you again soon. ❤
