Franklin Collins Obituary
Jackson, TN - Services for Pastor Franklin Hubert Collins, age 52, will be Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 2 p.m., at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
Pastor Collins died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Jackson General Hospital.
Pastor Franklin H. Collins was the Pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson, TN.
He leaves to cherish his legacy his wife, Noval Collins; six sons, Raleigh (Lawanda) Dodson, Marquintus (Katoya) Parram, Franklin ( Anita) Collins, Andrew Collins, Alex Thomas, Dontavius Collins; one daughter, Anna (Alec) Carter; two brothers, Edward Graham and Wheatley (Virginia) Graham; two sisters, Eva Thomas and Barbara Nance; sixteen grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
Visitation for Pastor Collins will begin Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. The remains of Pastor Collins will lie-in-state at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
