Kimberly Dimmick Obituary

Kimberly Lee Dimmick, 58

Kimberly Lee Dimmick, 58, of Boswell left life too early on Wednesday, July 27th, 2016, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on May 16th, 1958 to Eddie and Edna Arnold of South Whitley, Indiana. Graduating from Whitko High school in 1976, Kim went on to receive her BA in Parks and Recreation from Purdue University in 1980. While at Purdue, Kim played rugby and was known affectionately by her teammates as K.A. Married in 1995 to the love of her life, Bill Dimmick, her career took to her Purdue as a parts expeditor, then on to Wiers International Truck where she excelled in her work as an inventory control specialist. In her spare time, when she wasn't riding her horse, she would enjoy the company of her friends, bake and write poems for special occasions. Fiercely loyal to her friends and family, Kim's life was filled with her passions including: horses, camping, cooking and classic cars . In addition, Kim was a devoted Chaps Therapeutic riding volunteer. Kim is survived by her Husband Bill Dimmick, Parents Eddie and Edna Arnold, Sister Cari (Matt) Kyle, Brother Aaron Arnold; special aunt and uncle, Beverly and Bob Schwartz, and her many friends and extended family. If only there were more time to live, more time to say goodbye.

A Memorial Visitation will be celebrated on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette.
