The world lost a great person when Roger passed away. He was the reason I moved to Virginia Beach in 1987 to work for Sandler Foods. He & Dricinda welcomed me & my wife at the time with open arms & a heartfelt smile. I will always remember the great times, his GQ clothes, his blonde hair, his zest for life, his devotion to his family, his trip to MS to see me, his trip from Virginia Beach to MS in 1988 to be a groomsman in my wedding. I have a deep hole in my heart because we let life get in the way of talking more often. Until we meet again my friend......I LOVE YOU BROTHER!

Condolences, from my family and, myself. Roger was one of the sweetest and personable people I have ever met. He was an inspiration to me and my son while coaching Huntley Youth football. All of the kids and parents, including myself had great respect for him. I had the honor of meeting his family on numerous occasions and, the love and caring very visible. He was so much in love with Drecinda and all the kids. Soft spoken at times but his actions were always louder than words. We are truly saddened and I really wish I knew him better. Thoughts, prayers and memories.

Our deepest sympathy to Roger's family. We had gotten to know Roger just within the last several years, when he became our sales rep from Fox River. He was always pleasant, had a great personality and we really enjoyed his company when we saw him at a show or when he came to visit each of our schools with his monthly goody bag. We will miss him greatly.

I am so sorry and was "shocked" to hear of the loss of Roger. We had just messaged each other on facebook in July and we talked 4 times on the phone, before our 40th Class Reunion for the Class of 1969 at Southwestern HS! I didn't get to see Roger at the Reunion, because I was so sick, but treasured the phone calls we exchanged before it! Talked a little about our next one, our 45th! I am so so Sad for all of Roger's family, such a "great" loss at such a young age! Roger will be missed and is being grieved for by all of his classmates! He was always a great personality and lit up the room! He will be remembered for his exuberance for life, his love for family and his love of sports!
I am again so sorry for your "Great" loss and I have been praying for you all, since I found out about the tragedy on Monday! I will continue to pray for your family....
