Donald Bowman Obituary
Lafayette - Donald L. Bowman, 67, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2021 at 2:00 a.m. at his residence. Donald was born on January 3, 1954 in New Castle, IN to the late Rex and Loretta (Rosenbarger) Bowman. He graduated from Southwestern High School in 1972. Donald married Constance Metsker on June 28, 1986 in Lafayette, and she survives. He worked as a Union Carpenter for the Local #215, and was a member of First Baptist Church. Donald enjoyed fishing, golfing, and bowling.
Surviving along with his wife are two daughters, Adina (Henry) Hicks of Lafayette, and Lorilei Simms of Saginow, MI. Also surviving is his step-mother, Reta Bowman of Lafayette, three brothers, Steven (Barbara) Bowman of Newburg, IN, Mike (Teresa) Bowman of Texas, and Paul (Tina) Bowman of Lafayette, and three grandchildren, Garrett Brooks, Addisyn Hicks, and Namine Simms.
A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, July 1, 2021 5:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at First Baptist Church with Pastor Lisa officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church. Share memories and condolences at www.simplicity-funeralcare.com.
