Thelma, David, Phyllis, Ann & Danny's daughters and extended family, We have known David & Marilyn since the early 80's and met all of the siblings. We watched Dan, always around his big brother grow into such a handsome, nice man. He was so enjoyable to be around as he grew into manhood. He went on his way and we only saw him from time to time. Had no idea of his illness and we are so sorry to hear and see of his struggle with this deadly disease. What a fighter he was. What an amazing family unit to rally and care for him. We know your lives will have a hole in it without him for so very long. He must have felt such abounding love in his heart for the way you all surrounded him. That serves as a reminder to all of us how family should take care of family. May God Bless you all and may you find your way to some peace soon.

We meet Dan as our UPS delivery man for our office. He became a much loved friend. We shared lunches at the local park every day when the weather was nice. We talked & laughed about anything you could imagine. We went camping, out to eat, and even hunted his daughter down one day!(lol) Dan helped us buy & pick up our first Harley and it will NEVER be sold as it is our constant reminder of the wonderful guy that he was. Our friendship with Dan will be forever cherished by us, he will never be forgotten. His girls were always the first thing on his mind, even when they didn't think so! His love of life was in his smile and his laughter which we will never forget!! We are sure you are smiling as you are pain free finally and riding your dream Harley in heaven. May Frank, Terrie, and all the girls know he will be watching over you in heaven as you all watched over him here.

We knew Dan when he was our UPS guy in Remington. Always a nice smile and a fun guy to be around. We have since moved to Laf. and Dan came around one summer evening in 2012 with his 2010 black Mustang. I told him ...I love your Mustang, he said, it's for sale....I bought it. We lost a great friend. Thinking of all of you at this sad time. Take care of each other.

January 28, 2014

Haley, Kenzie and Aubree...I am so very proud of you for the way you handled your Dad's battle with this ugly disease. Kenzie, to say I'm proud of you for the way you took care of your Dad would be an understatement. You girls were so strong and so loving and such a blessing to your Dad. I will continue to pray for God's healing and strength for you. Terri, it's hard to know how to express how much I admire your dedication to Danny, your ex-husband, and your daughters throughout this battle. He was lucky in marriage and afterward for your support. Frank-what a gift you are as the step-dad who fought along with their Dad to give Danny the care he needed. I'm without words! Jenny Wichmann- so grateful and glad you are my friend, the love and support you showed not just to Danny but the girls has certainly earned you a special place in heaven. Danny...God Speed, know you were so loved. I'm glad your pain is over. We'll look after the girls! Penny

I met Dan when he was a customer at the bank I worked at than later was my regular UPS guy. If my son was out shooting baskets, Dan would deliver his package than come shoot one or two with him. He always had a kind word and a smile on his face. I'd always call him Dan Dan the UPS man. He was truly a nice guy and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest easy Dan.
