M. Rawles Obituary
M. Jane Rawles, 73, Kokomo, passed away at 5:15 am on Monday, February 15, 2016, at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo. She was born on January 2, 1943, in Howard County, the daughter of Paul & Alta Opal (George) Dunlap.
Jane was a 1961 graduate of Western High School. She retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service. She then worked for Functional Devices. Jane was a member of New London Friends Church and UAW Local #292. She is survived by her sons, Phil (Cheri) Rawles, West Lafayette, and Jeff Rawles, Lafayette; brothers, Paul (Becky) Dunlap Jr., Russiaville, and Jim Dunlap, Kokomo; sisters, Mary Massey, Kokomo, Dorothy Robertson, Kokomo, Lucy (David) Wilhoite, Kokomo, Betty (Roland) Pohlman, Kokomo; and grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton, Hunter, Max, and Danielle Rawles. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max Rawles, brother, Tom Dunlap, and sister, Ruby Purvis.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, with Jason Grant officiating. Burial will follow in New London Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family form 5-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Jane's memory to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
