Theresa Scammon Obituary
BIDDEFORD - Theresa M. Scammon, age 93 formerly of Saco, died Friday Feb. 1, 2019 at the Southern Maine Health Care Center.
She was born in Biddeford, Maine on Feb. 11, 1925, the daughter of Louis and Albertine (Brousseau) Talbot. She attended schools in Biddeford. Theresa was employed as a meat cutter at Biddeford Beef and York Mills for many years. Theresa loved music. She was an accomplished pianist and guitarist. Theresa was an avid cook and talented seamstress.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband Thomas L. Scammon in October of 1991.
She is survived by her son Thomas H. Scammon of Biddeford.
There are no visiting hours scheduled. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, 293 Beach St. Saco, Maine.
