SACO - Claire (Poirier) Daigneault, 79 of Saco, died Thursday Jan. 4, 2018 at Evergreen Manor, with her loving family by her side.
She was born Jan. 23, 1938 to Lucien and Muriel (Blouin) Poirier in Biddeford. Claire was educated locally.
On Oct. 25,1958 she married Donald Daigneault in Biddeford.
Claire worked for Sandy River Health system and for the Saco Valley Credit Union. Claire decided to retire in 2000.
Claire was a member of Board of Directors of Saco Valley Credit Union, a life member and past President of the Petersburg Virginia Jaycettes. She had a passion for quilting, bingo and playing a good card game.
Claire is survived by Donald Daigneault her husband of 59 years; daughter Debra Cyr of Saco; son Dennis Daigneault and his wife Cindy of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; son David Daigneault and his wife Kellie of Rochester, New Hampshire; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Claire's wishes all services are private and burial will take place in the spring.
Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
