Brian Maurice Daigneault

Brian Maurice Daigneault, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, after a battle with cancer. He was born August 22, 1945, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the son of the late Marjorie and Maurice Daigneault.

Brian was a graduate of The University of Connecticut. Over the years, he worked in the construction industry and as an office manager for an electrical and a concrete company. Brian was a proud Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and was a regular at the VA in Newington. He loved life. A sports enthusiast, he was a lifelong UCONN basketball "top fan", following "his boys" through thick and thin. As long as he could, he played golf and fished. He also enjoyed playing pool with his best buddy, John Lamenzo.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Rosanne (Casale) Daigneault; sister Marti Donovan; brother Dennis Daigneault (Donna Daigneault); and sister-in-law Virginia Daigneault. He is also survived by five nephews: Timothy, Gary, Kevin and Steven Donovan, and Shane Daigneault, as well as four nieces: Amy Godi, Karen Sevarino, Cindy Blier, and Nicole Daigneault.

Besides his parents, Brian is predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Alan Daigneault; nephew and godson Brian Donovan; and nephew David Daigneault.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at John Dempsey Hospital for their excellent care.

Calling hours will be Saturday, March 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford.
