Kenneth Edwards Obituary
Kenneth B. "Kenny" Edwards, Sr., 86, Townsend, WI, formerly of Oak Creek, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was born in Warren, Arkansas on November 24, 1929, to John and Sybil (Sloan) Edwards.
Kenny was a loving and adored husband, a loved dad and a cherished "Gramps."
He was also a proud veteran of the US Navy and the Korean War and a retiree of Allen Bradley.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn (Dumas); children Dale (John) Hochevar, Ken (Jane) Edwards Jr., Todd (Karen) Borman, Lisa Chopin, John (Beth) Edwards, Barbara Edwards, and Julie (Steve) Delebreau.
Kenny was further survived by his grandchildren, John Kenneth (Lisa), Erica, Jesse, Lindsay (Mike), Jesse (Brittany), Hanna, Melissa, Brittany, Katelyn, Carla, Jennifer, Sam, Trent, and Dylan, as well as eight great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia, parents John and Sybil, brother Gary Edwards, and grandson Joshua Carver.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 beginning at 4:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the charity of your choice.
A special thank you goes out to granddaughter Lindsay who was never far from Gramps side. Because of her tireless and loving devotion, we know he received the best care possible. Heartfelt thanks also to Unity Hospice, Manor Care East and the VA.

I am sorry for your loss. My prayers are with the Edwards family and friends. Adversities often sap a person of physical and emotional strength, even numbing the heart. Dad, you will always be my hero. We will miss you like crazy but find comfort that you are at peace. I thank God every day that he gave me such a wonderful, loving dad. Rest in peace "Poppa Smokey".

I could never have wished for a better neighbor and friend than Ken. I always looked forward to getting up north to share the weeks events and a Miller Lite with him. He was a very special man and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
