Peggie Hunkel Baumann

Baumann, Peggie Hunkel Of River Hills, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at the age of 84. Dear daughter of the late Margaret Livingstone Hunkel and Gunther Henry Hunkel. George Henry Baumann, her beloved husband of 41 years, preceded her in death. Loving mother of Thomas Hunkel Baumann (Diann Baumann), Barbara Baumann Bova (Gary), and Tracey Baumann Moore (John). Loving grandmother of George Hunkel Baumann (Michelle Baumann), Theodore Hunkel Baumann, John George Moore, Michael Richard Moore, and Catherine Anne Moore. Further survived by her adorable granddogs, Rio, Millie, Boomer and Riley. Peggie was a graduate of Whitefish Bay High School. She majored in political science, receiving her BS Degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Peggie's passion for politics continued throughout her life as an avid Republican volunteer. Peggie was a world traveler, visiting over 40 countries. A celebration of Peggie's life will be held on Tuesday, October 14 at 11:00 AM at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 7845 North River Rd., in River Hills. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends at a reception following the service. In loving memory of Peggie, memorials in her name many be directed to the Charles E.
