Peggy,
I am so sorry I did not know Robert had passed away. I saw Robert in late 2005 and I was so caught up in my own problems that I let time pass…too much time. He has been on my mind so much lately I started looking for him on Facebook, I just knew he would be there; fun loving happy Bob would defiantly be on Facebook with thousands of friends. When I did not find him I knew something was very wrong. I'm so sorry I missed his memorial. I know it has been 4 yrs but you and the kids will be in my thoughts and prayers. Robert was a very special guy who touched my life more than I could ever express in words. The memories I carry of Robert still make me smile. I will miss him so much. I love you Robert.

Peggy and family,
I am so sorry for our loss. You lost a husband, and father and son, and we lost a good friend. Bob and I spent 1000's of hours together playing cards, traveling to Mexico and working side by side. I will miss the many talks and laughs and groans over crazy ideas and plans.
Words simply cannot express my sorrow and pain over this unfortunate loss of life. As Bob touched my life in ways I can't explain, my prayers and thoughts will be with you all forever. The picture attached is from our last visit to his Island...Isla Mujeres. God Bless you all.

Even though I only worked with Bob for a couple of months, I was touched by his soul, spirit and his quest for meaning and fun in life. We had a few conversations centered around spirituality. He told me that he really believed in eternal life. The next day he shared with me a CD of "some of Bob's favorites" and told me that the first song was one he especially related to. I'm not much of a country fan, but the song was called "I believe" referring to a belief in life after death or that your soul lives on even after you leave life in it's current physical form. I now listen to that song and it brings tears to my eyes with the meaning it now has, given what has transpired. I know Bob is making bubbles, riding scooters and enjoying music infinitum in the space he now enjoys.
My condolescences to Peggy and Bob's kids. He was a truly inspiring man.
