Joan Miller Obituary
Milwaukee - (nee Fischer) Born to Eternal Life Monday, March 2, 2020. Age 66. Dear cousin of Darlene Tillman. Further survived by Kay Voss and her children, Lynn, Dean, Dale, Don and David; her dear friends, Nancy Kresse and Kim Nelson; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Loretta Fischer; her brother, Glenn Fischer; Darlene's husband, Richard; and Darlene's brother and Kay's husband, Don.
Joan was born in Milwaukee on May 12, 1953 to Robert and Loretta Fischer and graduated from Washington High School in 1971. She owned the advertising agency, Miller Marketing. Joan was a kind, giving and loving soul who will be missed by all who knew her.
Private Family Services Pinelawn Memorial Park, Wauwatosa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital, St. Jude's Hospital or Tosa Cares and would be appreciated.

I had a long history of friendship and many happy experiences with Joanie. She knew how to have a great time and no matter what, always saw the light and potential in each person. I know she is enjoying the "Higher Life" with her beloved family....and finally back with her brother Glen....which is how we met in the first place. We will miss you Joan....heaven just got a bit brighter! xo

Joan is a pleasant memory from almost 20 years ago. I recently heard she had returned to Milwaukee and renewing old friendships as well as developing new ones. She will be a bright light in heaven with her energy and graciousness. RIP, Joangel.

There was no one like Joanie, kind , warm, uplifting and caring. She was the definition of a " true friend ". ..I don't know what so many of us will do with out her wonderful smile , concern and inspiration. This was all so sudden and jarring but I know she is in a far better place. I hope to meet up again...

Joan was a beautiful person inside and out.
She was generous and kind, and a very good friend. Now she is reunited with her grandparents, Mom, and brother, Glenn, all of whom predeceased her. Hope you are having a fun reunion, Joan. Give my love to our good friend, Judy, who was probably waiting to greet you with open arms. I will miss you.

Joan was a wonderful friend that always had a smile and had many fun times, often hosting our Washington High School girls. She will be truly missed. She sent us a beautiful letter showing her faith and how strong she was these past weeks. Now she is in heaven with our other dear friend, Judy. Peace and love to both of them.
