My sincere condolences to Corene Wells on the recent passing of your husband Lenard.
I just wanted to say that I was saddened to hear that Lenard had passed away due to this pandemic.
Lenard was a very kind soul and a joyful person to speak with over the years. Im glad to have had the opportunity to work with him and listen to him at the Academy over the years.
Our city just lost of the few greats in MPD history and I hope his legacy and teachings on Law Enforcement will be carried on by all those he mentored.
The one thing I will always remember about Lenard was his laugh and its sad that he was taken way to early from all who knew him and loved him, especially his dear wife Corene.
So, I will pray for the Wells family especially you Corrine and your families and friends so that they may comfort one another during this time of sorrow.
Lenard Wells served his community with honor and will be missed. May he R.I.P, as he travels on his new journey to the heavens as god will be waiting to accept you with open arms.
Take care and thanks for all the wisdom your shared with me.

Lenny and I go way back! To MATC, MPD( on the board of the League of Martin). He was a wit, a scholar, and will be sorely missed in this life. So much potential, taken too early. May he Rest In Peace and my sincere condolences to the family
