I worked with Mark at Fairview. I will remember his wonderful kindness and humor. I was expecting my first child last school year, and Mark always made a point to ask me how I was doing. He joyfully shared with me stories of when he and his wife were expecting their children. He said he recorded their heartbeats on tape to send to relatives! Mark taught me and many others to take the time spread kindness and a smile. He will be missed by many.
God bless you, Mark.

To the Bremer Family; My children attend Fairview school and always enjoyed seeing Mark in the halls and working with him during chess club. We recently joined HCLC. My son attended his 1st Jonah event and did not know anyone. Mark went out of his way to include him and make him feel comfortable. This meant a lot to our family and will be a lasting memory of your father/husband. Your family will be in our prayers.

To: Kim Kudart Bremer and Family - It is with deep sadness that I saw the death notice of Mark in the paper. After losing my own son, Stephen, to Cancer at age 43, I know the pain and sorrow you are in at this time, as well as your children. I recall fondly the many times you and Mark spent in my office visiting and and talking over the times and school itself. I always enjoyed your company.
May the Lord Jesus look down on you and hold you close and give you peace.
You are in my Prayers.

Dear Bremer family.
Our deepest sympathy with the passing of Mr. Bremer; he was one of our daughter's favorite teachers. We always enjoyed running into him at the OCB wearing nothing but his shorts/tee-shirt in the mid of Winter. His laughter and kindness will be missed greatly at Fairview; he always had a smile on his face no matter what kind of day it was. Take heart that he will be missed and kept in our hearts. God Bless you and help you to remember the good times and the great memories that you have made with him. The Differt family; Linda, Leroy, Jessica and Danielle.

Dear Bremer Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. When I lived in your neighborhood, I often walked by your house with my dog or my nieces on the way to the park. I saw your dad/Mark on many of those walks. He was typically doing everyday things like manning the grill (in his shorts), letting the dog out, loading up the car to take someone to a lesson or activity, unloading gallons of milk from the van, taking care of the yard, cleaning out the pool, etc. He was a family man...and such a friendly one as well. I will always remember that no matter what he was in the middle of doing, he always made time to say "hi" and chat for a bit. Your dad/Mark is already very missed by friends, neighbors and colleages. I was blessed to be all three. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mr. Bremer was always fun-filled with many things to do. I remember he had a poster up on the wall where he would ask the students to guess things about him. Dear Bremer Family,
Thinking of you and wishing you all the peace and love promised to us in God's Word. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve your loss. God bless you and keep you close in your time of sadness.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning the God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories
Your love is still our guide
And though we can not see you
Your are always at our side
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. (Matthew 5:4)
