Gibbons, Robert K., Sr. Of Shorewood. Entered Eternal Life July 5, 2012, at the age of 77 years, reuniting with his beautiful wife and soulmate of 50 years, Catherine ( nee Vitrano). Loving and caring father of Thomas (Corrie) Gibbons and the late Robert Jr (Mary) Gibbons. Proud and loving grandpa of Kelly, Hannah, Vinny, Makenzie and great-grandpa of Cooper and Colson Gibbons. Dearest brother of Barbara (Bob) Rumler, the late Eunice, the late Art and the late Tommy. Dear brother-in-law of Charlie (Carleen), Tony (Karolyn), Jim (Barbara) and John (Jean) Vitrano. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many good and dear, especially his friends Mike Herkowski, Jim Finnerty, Tom Pykett, T.J. Alioto and Carol Lee. Visitation Wednesday July 11 at the Harder Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM with a time of remembrance at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at HOLY CROSS CEMETERY NORTH CHAPEL 7301 W. Nash Street, Milwaukee. Burial to follow. Bob was a proud Korean War Veteran, past President of Pompeii Men's Club, past President of Cudworth Post, former Athletic Director of St. Robert's School and Chairman of beer and wine sales at Festa Italiana for 15 years. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Gibbons Family. "Bob was loved by many, and will be missed by all".
