Joan Hubbard Obituary

Hubbard, Joan Marie (Nee Miller ), of Menomonee Falls, age 84 was born to Eternal Life on August 26, 2015. Her beloved husband, Henry, preceded her in death. She is survived by loving family members and many dear friends. Joan held two Masters degrees, one from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and also a Master of Fine Arts degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She was a long time member of the Society of American Goldsmiths and the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council. She was an award winning jewelry artist. Joan also had her own jewelry business, "Artistic Metal by Joan Miller-Hubbard". Joan has shared her knowledge and touched many appreciative students where she taught art at St. Catherine's High School, Racine, WI., the College of Arts and Design, Parkside, UWM, MATC, Mount Mary University and Milwaukee Public Schools. Services will be held Friday, September 11 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church N88 W17658 Christman Rd., Menomonee Falls. Visitation 10:00 AM. Memorial Mass 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society-Wisconsin Chapter or to Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Menomonee Falls, WI.
