Jean Dannenfelser Obituary

Dannenfelser, Jean Elizabeth (Née Stothart ) December 9, 1925-November 30, 2015. We looked away for just a moment and in that moment Jean slipped away in a most peaceful and lovely departure. Born to Frances (née Ritz) and Paul Pope Stothart, Jean grew up in Whitefish Bay. During her college years she received her teaching degree and met the love of her life, Bert Dannenfelser. They were married on August 14, 1948. Bert and Jean raised four children, Christie Mulligan (James), Lynn Johnson (Craig), Lori Schultz (Paul), and Todd Dannenfelser (Glenda). The family enjoyed wonderful memories while growing up in Mequon, and Okauchee Lake. Jean had a very special relationship with all of her grandchildren and will be greatly missed; Mike (Megan), Casey (Brandee), and Murphy Mulligan; Christopher (Heather), Leah (John), and Sean Johnson; Patrick (Heather), Arthur, and Lynn (Troy) Schultz; Hans, Bert (Taylor), George, and their mother Monica Dannenfelser. Jean's precious great grandchildren, Marley Mulligan, Finn Mulligan and Alex Schultz kept her young at heart. Friends and family will remember Jean's humor, her kindness, and the way she made each of us feel special. She was clever, wise, and oh so mischievous; never missing an opportunity for a good laugh. A celebration of Jean's life will be held at Okauchee Lake during the summer of 2016. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
