Looking through the obituaries this morning I see this name which rings the recess bell at A.E. Burdick. My 7th grade teacher. Through out my life I would think of him often. He sure loved his job as much as us pupils. I wish their was some way of finding the real good people that you met in life before the final day of the final exam... so to speak. But I guess that's the way God made this short life. A test of goodness. I am sure Mr. Ulrichsen passed the final with flying colors and is in God's hands now. I hope that when the final comes for me that I pass also. I am studying hard and hope I will pass too. God bless you sir. Your family and friends have my most deepest and sincerest sympathies. May you rest in peace.
