I'm so sorry that such an amazing vet passed at such a young age. We've never had a vet as good as Dr. Fry since moving from Lenexa 12 years ago. My condolences to the family and all concerned. He was excellent not only with our animals but also in teaching us to be good pet owners. Thank you, Dr. Fry! Your presence on this Earth is missed.

I am shocked and saddened to hear Dr Fry's passing. He has been my furry children's vet since I first got them as kittens. All 3 of them did not fear the vet because at one time, each had been really sick, close to death, and he healed them. They all understood. Mia was so tiny 8 weeks, 3 lbs, when she was poisoned. He took her home and she pulled through. She always purred when she saw him. He will be missed.

Dr. Fry has been my boss, my friend, and part of my family for 16 years. I will miss working with him. His love for animals and his staff went above and beyond. I will miss the great times we had laughing so hard we had tears coming out of our eyes. The front staff having to come back and tell us to keep it down...Toni...I learned a great deal from him he loved to teach and did it so well.Everything I know about the care for animals came from him. And that I Thank You Dr. Fry. I have so many great memories with him that I could write a book.. Rip my friend you will be missed by so many.

Dr.Fry took care of the Cyrier animals for over 25 years. We knew that we could call the office on the corner of Quivera and 79th street and get the care for any one of our fur persons. We always felt that Dr. Fry was our very own animal doctor and friend. He was always there for our family giving us the guidance we needed to take of our four legged family members. We were sad to learn of his passing and will remember him as a caring and gentle man. Dr. Fry will be missed

Dr. Fry was the best kind of person, genuine, caring and honest. I am grateful that our pets allowed us an opportunity to have known him. I am truly saddened by his passing, but joyful that he surely will be embraced by the angels in heaven.

Just learned that our beloved veterinarian's faith has become sight and now he's walking with the Lord. Dr. Fry was the most kind and compassionate man I think I've ever met. He was our vet for 3 dogs (over the years), one rabbit, and numerous guinea pigs. I think I am most sad because I'm not able to thank him for his love & tender care for our pets and the kindnesses to our family over the 30 years that he's been taking care of us. We will miss him greatly. Praying for his wife and family...may the Lord comfort you and give you peace as you hold tight to memories of your husband, father & grandpa. He was a remarkable man. Thank you for sharing him with us all.

I was shocked to hear of Dr. Fry's untimely death yesterday when I inquired at his clinic. He has been vet to my 5 cats (1 deceased) over the past 15 years and I don't know what I will do without him. We were in regular contact. He was definitely someone I could count on and connect with. My condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed by many, definitely by me and 'my babies'.

We've loved the Fry family since we first meant them, and even more to their credit they made us, our children and our 4 legged family members feel loved too. Sharon, you and Luke loved our kids and Luke loved 2 generations of our pets. Thank you for sharing Luke, still not ready to tell him goodbye

How can I say goodbye to such wonderful, compassionate, loyal, funny, talented person with a god given gift to heal animals. Well I can't because I know I will see him again in heaven. Dr. Fry has been my healer for over 25 yrs, helping 4 furbabies cross over the rainbow bridge and taking wonderful care of my 2 current dogs. Not only was he a great vet but he was my son's first boss and a great role model for him. I will miss his caring personality and his funny jokes.
To Sharon, Toni, family and staff thank you for sharing him with me and my family.
Rest in peace Dr. Fry.

My deepest condolences for Dr. Fry's family and to the Quivira Road Animal Clinic. Dr. Fry has been my vet through a multitude of dachshunds I have had, sometimes arriving at his clinic with four all at once. He also took great care of my greyhounds too. Being a hospice RN for almost 30 years, I would ask him silly questions about medications he would prescribe for my furbabies as I would ask him about a different med (from a human patient standpoint), he would always give me detailed reasons as to why one medication would work better than my suggestion. I admired him and what compassion he showed to all of my animals who came to see him. He will be truly missed but will hold a special place in my heart for being the kindest, most gentlest man and vet I have ever known. Rest in Paradise Dr. Fry. Heaven just gained another angel.

We are so deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Fry's passing. He truly treated all of our dogs as family members...and I definitely had and continue to have some very challenging cases. We never for one moment doubted that veterinary care was his true passion, as he proved it time and time again with our dogs. We live quite a distance, with many vets in our area, but always insisted on sticking with Dr. Fry. About seven or eight years ago my husband and I started noticing some of the many pictures were being removed from the walls of the exam rooms. We nervously asked if he was retiring, and he replied, "Oh no, I love what I do too much, the girls are just taking them down for a facebook page", he definitely meant it. The entire staff of Quivira Road Animal Clinic is like family to us. We know that both of our existing dogs, as well as the ones that have passed, truly received the best care possible. Dr. Fry, we will miss you dearly, but we know that you have to be on that "rainbow bridge" surrounded by all of your beloved former patients, including three of my own. To Sharon, your wife...you may remember "Joker", my crazy lab who he brought home for a week. Dr. Fry, God bless you for your endless dedication and love of the animals that you cared for all of these years.

With our deepest sympathies,

We have known the Fry family since the 70's , my heart goes out to you. May your warm memories help bring you peace and comfort. Knowing he is with our lord brings peace. Our hearts are saddened, he will be missed greatly. I was Melody & Gabe's teacher @ creative world when I first got married. He helped our 2 cats Dexe 22yrs & Obediah 15yrs, before that he was my husbands vet from 1973. May God hold you close.

I am so sad to find out about the loss of Dr. Fry. He was the best veterinarian I have ever known and not only was he a bright and talented vet, but an extremely kind and honest person. I only knew his professional side, but his gentle, caring demeanor was so reassuring when he cared for my dog. He was well respected by his office staff and the entire community. He will be missed so much and never forgotten.
Rest in peace Dr. Fry.
