I was deeply moved by Mrs. Hedke's obituary and condolences. Although I did not know her in life, the words of those who loved her made her alive to me all the way here in Virginia.
I will be featuring her obituary and honoring her on a radio show called Death Club Radio on Thursday, February 12th at 1230 EST. Her obituary will be read along with why she stood out as someone to be honored. Each week on the show we try to remember every-day people from around the world who have made a difference in the lives of others. The show will be streaming at wrir.org and can be accessed in the archives for up to 2 weeks.
May her memory be a blessing and may the telling of her story be an inspiration to others.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Annette. She was one of the Lord's great and beautiful jewels. I was saddened until I realized that she is beholding Jesus face to face, and that is a very special place to be. Without Annette, there would be no Messianic fellowships in Wichita, period. Without Annette, I would not have met my husband. Because of her, my husband and I embraced our Jewish heritage. Annette always strengthened mine and my family's faith in the Messiah. Annette prayed for me and my family all the time... As soon as she would see me at an event, she would call on me to help serve, the one thing I longed for. To Dennis and your family: You won't remember us, but we'll never forget Annette and you when we met at your house in south Wichita years ago at a "Remnant of Israel" bible study. What a blessing! My own mother went home to Jesus in a very similar way; Jesus loves his chosen ones; our job is to learn to accept HIS sovereign plan and his PERFECT timing. Annette is with our son Timothy; he loved her at the Passover celebration. May Jesus hold your family in the palm of HIS hand.

We could never tell you of the love and appreciation the Langhofer family has for Dennis and Annette for all the love and kindness you have shown through the years. Jeanne and Lindsey always were anxious to attend Bible Study and be part of Annette bringing the word to them and other women through the eyes of aJewish Heritage and fom the heart of a redeemed woman. The times Annette spent with Lindsey as her encourager and her friend will be missed in a very heartfelt manner. Jeanne will miss the refreshing
times at coffee brunch or learning how to make Baklava. Whatever Annette did she did it unto The Lord and she was a friend and encourager indeed. We became acquainted when Dennis ran for Lt. Gov. many years ago and we worked on the campaign. Annette was a lovely person with a truly shining countenance...someone you would never forget!
