Lois Rae Hedke (nee Smith) of South Rockwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Smith and Mildred Smith (nee Long) and her beloved husband, Robert Hedke. Lois is survived by her children, Karen (Mark) Giroux, Karl (Christina) Hedke, Mark Hedke, and Kay (Scott) Ross. She was the proud grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 12. Lois graduated from Slocum-Truax High School in 1948 and worked at the Monsanto Trenton Plant as secretary. She was a devoted mother, homemaker and a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Riverview. The Detroit Tigers was her favorite team to watch.
