I am so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. My husband, Klaus Schmidt, worked with Dave for several years at McWhirter Printing. Dave taught Klaus so many valuable lessons. And over the years, we would hear from Dave about this or that, I really enjoyed hearing about his travels. He really enjoyed his life. Dave always called me Ma Bell. When he took one of his many overseas trips, he brought back to me a small crystal bell from Ireland. It is on display in my hutch. He was a great Irishman, and friend.
