CAMPBELL, JR. James Richard Campbell, Jr, Olathe, KS, 58, passed away June 25, 2016. He was born June 11, 1958 in Kansas City, KS, the son of James and Barbara (Morris) Campbell. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1976. Jim married Michelle Rodriguez on June 22, 1985 in Overland Park, KS. He worked for Shawnee Mission Ford as their parts manager for 27 years. He was preceded in death by his father, James Richard, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Michelle, mother, Barbara Campbell, Roeland Park, KS, son, James Campbell III, Kansas City, MO, daughter Nina Campbell, Overland Park, KS, brothers, Greg Campbell and Scott Campbell and sister, Ann Weber. Celebration of Life will be 11:30, Saturday, July 2 at Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe, Leawood followed by a tailgate party at 1:30 PM at Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. I've known Jim since kindergarten. He lived a couple blocks away from me, and sometimes, we hung around during the summer with the other neighborhood kids. We always spoke when we saw each other, which was rare in junior high and high school because we didn't have the same classes, and then we moved, so, that put an end to seeing each other around the neighborhood. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Just heard about it today. My deepest condolences to Jim's wife, kids, mother and other family members.

My deepest condolence to all of Jim's loved ones. I only knew Jim as a customer but he always had a smile and laugh for us and he will be greatly missed by our team. A man of such good humor and a kind soul. Above all a really good guy. Prayers for you family today as they remember you.
