Georgia Colliver Obituary

COLLIVER Georgia Morris, 88, wife of Melvin Colliver, died Sun, June 29, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Jessamine County. Born February 19, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Emily Morris. Survivors other than her husband include a daughter, Carol Curry, Nicholasville, KY; two sons, Melvin Lewis Colliver, Long Beach, CA, and Ricky W. Colliver, Nicholasville; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Juanita Morris, Independence, KY. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Thu, July 3, 2014 at Jessamine Christian Church. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wed, July 2, 2014 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Georgie. I still have the blanket she made for Chris when he was a baby and several Christmas ornaments that she made me. I will always cherish them.
