Kurt worked for me two summers with my landscape team in Green Bay. I just shared a story about him today at lunch. Than my wife told me this evening he passed. What I enjoyed most about Kurt was his enthusiasm for life. He was very passionate about life, followed closely by his love for music. The last time I saw him my wife and I were walking up to “The Wet Whistle” in Algoma. I heard the DJ and said,”That sounds like Kurt Colburn!” Sure enough is was. It was great to see him and catchup on old times. I will truly miss him. Kurt — I know your listening. The heavenly choir now has a beautiful new voice. How lucky are they? ❤ To you and all the lives you touched. I was blessed to know you. Thank you Kurt. Don Sterling.

Kurt was always a funny, nice guy. I met Kurt through Grant and have fun memories of seeing them play together , hanging out at Grant's house .I will always remember him smiling and laughing. He will be missed. The world is a more somber place without him.
