Nicole Bergquist Obituary
Algoma - Nicole Lee Bergquist, 47, Algoma, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 after a three-week courageous battle with Covid-19 at Bellin Hospital. She was born May 31, 1973 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to Lonney and JoAnn (Kusmitch) Goman.
Nicole graduated from the Algoma High School in 1992. She then attended NWTC for Jewelry Design. She enjoyed making jewelry especially with her nieces and nephews. She was involved in horseback riding and had competed on a national circuit. Nicole was passionate about cooking and became a chef at several restaurants in the Green Bay area.
Nicole said "I love my children!!! They are the Greatest Blessings in my life, no matter what mistakes I've made, I must have done something so right, God gave me them!!!"
Nicole is survived by her mother JoAnn (Dennis) Schneider; her siblings Lonney Goman (fiancé Barbara Marks), Miranda (Scott) Hausauer, Brett (Sheri) Schneider her children Gabby (Jordon) Pardowsky and Jake Zimmerman (special friend Alexis); grandchildren Ezra and Elsie; nieces and nephews Madison and Landon Schneider, KayLeigh, Reid and Sophia Woelfel and Patrick Hausauer; her Godmother Arlene Schneider; and many aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father Lonney Goman; maternal grandparents Joseph and Lorraine Kusmitch, paternal grandparents Clair and Veronica Goman, many aunts and uncles. As well as her Great Dane dogs Duke and Dutchess.
There will be a public gathering, Tuesday April 20, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Algoma from 11:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM with Rev. Alvan Amadi officiating. Burial will be at the Florence, WI. Cemetery.
