Pam: I cannot tell you how much your father meant to my father. Your daddy was so very special, and I appreciate his friendship with my dad. I also want you to know how much I admired him. He did so much for our little town of Deep Run. He put us on the map. You have my sincere sympathy.

I remember Harold being a strong proponent for the community, the county, the state. He was always smiling and pleasant. I loved seeing all of you at our Humphrey family reunion. My prayers go up for you in your time of mourning for your loss and the adjustment of that void in days to come...my love to you and the whole family.

Mr. Harold was an outstanding leader in our community and will be missed. He was always willing to help others and THAT is the sign of a true leader. May Mrs. Arlene, Pam, Johnny, and all of the family find comfort in sweet memories of him.

Pam, I am sorry to hear about the passing of your Father. There are not manyWWII Veterans left now. Your Dad was a good friend of my family. Two things that I remember about Deep Run from my youth was Humphrey-Hardison Oil Company and Salty Roosters. Please let your Mother know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Hardison, Daughter & Family,
My Mother, Dorethea M. Branch & I are very sorry about the loss of Senator Harold W. Hardison, and we extend our prayers and deepest condolences. Senator Hardison was a true and supportive longtime friend of my Mother & Father, the late Ira D. Branch, Jr. of La Grange, N.C. It was Senator Hardison who was responsible for my being a Senate Page in the N.C. General Assembly in 1974. For this, and all other kindness to my family, my parents and I will be forever grateful. Thank you Mrs. Hardison for sharing a loyal and dedicated public servant like Senator Hardison with the people of the great State of North Carolina. May God's Blessings Be With You, Your Daughter And Family Now And Always.

Dear Mrs. Arlene, Pam and Family. Please know that you are in my prayers at this sad time in your life.
Mr. Hardison was a fine man and did so much for Deep Run, Lenoir County and the State of NC. He also did a lot to help my daughter, Tova, which we greatly appreciate.
Mrs. Arlene, I thank you for attending my mom's services. I didn't get to speak to you but I did see that you were there. Thank you for taking the time to attend with Mr. Hardison being so sick at the time.
May you be comforted during the time of grief.
Sincerely,

Dear Mrs. Arlene and Pam. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this sad time in your life. It's difficult to lose someone we love so much, but they are far better off than we are as they are at Peace and no longer enduring pain.
I appreciate all that Mr. Hardison did to help my daughter, Tova, with the benefit dinner years ago and helping us to get her on disability. She is doing great now and has a family of her own.
Please know that you are in my thoughts. Mrs. Arlene, thank you so much for attending my mom's funeral. I didn't get to see you after the services, but I did know that you were there. I greatly appreciate your taking the time to be there with Mr. Hardison as sick as he has been.
Most humbly and sincerely,
Linda Thompson Coltes
